Terms of Service
Working draft · not yet in effect
1. Who we are
CodeSprint is an online coding-education platform for school students in the United Arab Emirates. These Terms will govern your use of the website and the learning content, quizzes, and progress tools offered through it (the "Service").
2. Eligibility and accounts
The Service is intended for school-age students. If you are under the age of majority, you may register and use the Service only with the involvement and consent of a parent or legal guardian, who accepts these Terms on your behalf. You are responsible for the information you provide at registration and for keeping your login details private. Do not share your account or use another person's account.
3. Using the Service
You may use the Service for personal, non-commercial learning. You agree not to misuse it — for example, do not attempt to disrupt or overload the platform, probe its security, access data that is not yours, scrape content in bulk, or use it to break any law. We may suspend accounts that do.
4. Lessons and code you write
Lessons run interactive exercises, including Python that executes inside your own browser. Content is provided for education and may be updated, reordered, or corrected over time. Code you type into lesson editors stays in your browser session and is not submitted to us as part of your account.
5. Premium purchases
Some course levels are available as one-time premium purchases. Prices are shown before you pay and are charged in AED through our third-party payment provider; we do not receive or store your full card details. Access to a purchased level is granted to your account after the provider confirms a successful payment. Because this is educational digital content unlocked immediately, purchases are generally non-refundable except where required by applicable law — refund terms will be finalised before launch.
6. Intellectual property
The lessons, quizzes, text, graphics, and software that make up the Service belong to CodeSprint or its licensors. You may use them for your own learning but may not copy, redistribute, or resell them without permission.
7. Service "as is"
While in development and testing the Service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis, without warranties of any kind. Features may change or be unavailable. To the extent permitted by law, CodeSprint is not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from use of the Service.
8. Changes
We may update these Terms as the platform develops. When the Service goes live, the effective version will be dated here, and material changes will be communicated appropriately.
9. Governing law
These Terms will be governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates.
10. Contact
Questions about these Terms can be sent through our Contact page.
